Josh Alford

Having grown up in Cornwall Josh graduated from Reading University with a BSc in Economics. Josh has proved that his skillset spans multiple sectors having worked on a broad range of transactions in varied industries. He also sits on the board of a fast growing Cornish gin business and is predominantly responsible for containing the excitement of the founder in relation to new routes to market!

Josh is a stickler for the detail, an excellent researcher and adept at handling data. He makes sure no stone is left unturned.

Richard Baker

Richard, a Chartered Engineer, has worked in industry since leaving business school in 1969. He has held the positions of Chairman, CEO or executive board member of a number of public and privately owned businesses gaining extensive UK and international experience. He has extended his industry experience assisting growing businesses with finance raising and practical advice in a wide range of markets including metals, public works construction, computer learning, book wholesaling, military textiles, service centre, electronics and dairy equipment. Living in South Devon, he is based at our Falmouth office.

An FCCA by trade, Steve cut his teeth in the Motorsport industry as Finance Director of JaguarSport and later Group Finance Director of TWR Group. Within these roles Steve was also responsible for commercial negotiations in relation to joint ventures with the likes of Jaguar and Volvo as well as aftermarket parts manufacturing. Steve has worked at Oasis Europe for more than 15 years and is particularly skilled at analysing detailed financials.

Catherine O’Riordan

After completing a Business Studies degree, Catherine worked in research and analysis with Arthur Andersen before joining Oasis Europe in 1999. Catherine manages our research function and coupled with our databases there are very few individuals or companies she isn’t able to track down. With over 25 years of experience working in Mergers and Acquisitions, Catherine is invaluable when searching for the opportunity that would otherwise go unfound.

Catherine also manages transactions in the transport, media and business services sectors as well as co-ordinating the activities of the UK and Australian offices of Oasis Europe.

After a successful international career which saw him work in Holland, the US and the UK Warwick now specialises in mergers and acquisitions representing the shareholders of established companies in Australia as they contemplate their exit..

John Willcox-Jones

John has worked in industry since 1972 holding management positions in sectors as diverse as building products, retail furnishing and horticultural machinery. During the early 1980s he was actively involved in the City advising companies on behalf of a number of stockbrokers and issuing houses in connection with stock market flotations and on the board of a number of public companies. He relinquished these appointments in 1984 to specialise in mergers and acquisitions work. He regularly lectures on Corporate Finance matters throughout the UK as well as in Europe and North America.

James Willcox-Jones

James has extensive experience of the third sector both in the UK and India with experience in building relationships and partnerships with major commercial organisations, the banking sector and individual high net worth philanthropists. Whilst James didn’t cut all ties with the charity world (he is a trustee of Future Hope, India) he brought the relationships and negotiation skills he gained through 10 years in the industry to the world of mergers & acquisitions. James has recently completed transactions in the FMCG, digital and marketing sectors. He is currently working on assignments in the oil & gas, medical and engineering sectors.
